Alkis Siderakis is the Head of Sustainability and ESG at UNIPAKHELLAS, overseeing and implementing sustainability initiatives and ESG practices for both UNIPAKHELLAS North and UNIPAKHELLAS Central. In this role, he is responsible for driving the companies\u2019 commitment to environmental, social, and governance goals, while ensuring compliance with existing and new legislation, including EU regulations. Prior to this, he served as the Management Systems Unit Head at UNIPAKHELLAS North, where he led efforts to maintain and improve certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and FSC CoC. His role also involved monitoring regulatory compliance and ensuring environmental, quality, and food safety standards were consistently met. Additionally, he served as the Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, where he played a crucial role in maintaining product quality while adhering to environmental and safety standards. With almost 10 years of experience in the corrugated board and carton box production industry, he has built a strong foundation in quality management, compliance, and sustainability. He holds a degree in Civil Infrastructure Engineering and an MSc from the University of Leeds. He is a certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and has attended programs in ESG, sustainable development and circular economy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
