\nPrior to joining Viohalco, he worked for 17 years at the National Bank of Greece in Risk Management, reaching the position of Chief Risk Officer for NBG Group.
\nHe started his career as a Professor and MSc Director at the HEC School of Management in Paris, while he later joined the University of Piraeus as Assistant Professor. He also served as Visiting
\nProfessor at the Universities of Geneva and Beirut and ALBA Graduate Business School and has published numerous articles on risk management and international markets in refereed journals,
\nedited volumes and the financial press. Dr. Benos has a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University, a Diploma Degree from the University of Athens and a PhD in Finance from the GSB at Stanford.<\/p>\n
