Constantine Tsolakidis is Senior Underwriter, Corporate & Special Risks\u2019 Solutions at Interamerican Hellenic P&C Insurance, responsible for environmental impairment liability and renewable energy portfolios.<\/p>\n

Specialised for the past twenty years in a wide spectrum of finance industry\u2019s (insurance & banking) involvement with sustainability issues (environmental risk management \u2013 strategic planning \u2013 green product development \u2013 green bancassurance \u2013 EMS systems & auditing \u2013 sustainability indicators \u2013 ESG & CSR reporting).<\/p>\n

Member of the Technical Team (2010\u201312) for the formulation of the \u201cPrinciples for Sustainable Insurance\u201d \u2013 the global flagship sustainability initiative for the insurance sector under the auspices of the U.N. Secretary-General. Member (2012-2020) of the Environmental Liability Task Force at Insurance Europe, the European Insurance and Reinsurance Federation.<\/p>\n

Born in 1964, Constantine is a Civil \u2013 Environmental Engineer B.S. (Michigan State University), M.S.E. (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor), Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, Member & Assessor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Chartered Environmental Surveyor MRICS). He has an established research record in urban & natural resource management at King\u2019s College (London) and NTUA and a long trainer\u2019s record at various executive, undergraduate and postgraduate courses on environmental risk, sustainability and natural resources\u2019 management.<\/p>\n
