{"id":128268,"date":"2024-07-09T14:11:43","date_gmt":"2024-07-09T11:11:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icapcrif.com\/?p=128268"},"modified":"2024-07-10T14:24:18","modified_gmt":"2024-07-10T11:24:18","slug":"icap-crif-ratings-new-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icapcrif.com\/en\/icap-crif-ratings-new-company\/","title":{"rendered":"ICAP CRIF: establishes ICAP CRIF RATINGS SINGLE MEMBER S.A."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong style=\"color: #3a3a39; background-color: #ffffff; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;\"><strong><strong><strong>Tuesday July 9th,\u00a02024<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>PRESS RELEASE<br \/>\nICAP CRIF S.A. group of companies establishes ICAP CRIF RATINGS SINGLE MEMBER S.A.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ICAP CRIF S.A. announces the demerger of its Credit Rating Division, which will now operate as a separate company under the name <strong>ICAP CRIF RATINGS SINGLE MEMBER S.A<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The new company is fully owned by ICAP CRIF S.A. and retains the registration from European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to operate as a Credit Rating Agency and the right to issue Credit Ratings that comply with the provisions of Regulation (EC) 1060\/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on Credit Rating Agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The spin-off allows the new company to primarily focus on the provision of credit ratings, while improving internal governance and operational policies to enhance the credibility, transparency, independence, and quality of the services provided.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>President and CEO<\/strong> of the new company, <strong>Nikitas Konstantellos<\/strong>, stated: &#8220;<em>The spin-off of the Credit Rating Division is an important step for our company.
