Today 25th July, the <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=OJ%3AL_202401872\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Implementing Regulation 2024\/1872 of the European Commission<\/a> comes into force, concerning the mapping between <strong>Credit Ratings<\/strong> from <strong>External Credit Assessment Institutions<\/strong> (ECAIs) and <strong>Credit Quality Steps<\/strong> (CQS).<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Myrto Kyriakidou<\/strong>, Executive Director, ICAP CRIF RATINGS, stated:<\/div>\n<div>\u201c<em>The new Regulation creates a chain of benefits for all ICAP CRIF Ratings stakeholders. In practice, it means that credit exposures to many leading Greek companies with high ICAP CRIF Rating will henceforth be classified at the very low credit risk level of CQS1.
