Foteini Markou
Technical Content Manager at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
Foteini Markou is a Technical Content Manager at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). While at GRI, she contributed to the project for the development of the GRI Climate Change Standards.
Foteini has a background both in international and standard setting organizations as well as in the private sector. Prior to joining GRI, she gained experience in sustainability from different perspectives such as consulting, internal industry functions and international organizations. She has worked as an auditor in management systems and sustainability reporting as per international standards.
Foteini has an academic background in Industrial Engineering and has obtained an MEng from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master’s degree from the École Nationale Supérieure d’ Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris
