Women in Business Forum 2025
For the 11th consecutive year, the Women in Business Forum seeks to creatively explore the concerns and challenges related to the managerial inclusion of women in senior and executive leadership.
As a socially responsible Employer, ICAP CRIF aims through the Women in Business Forum:
- To inform and educate Women Executives so they can advance in the professional hierarchy and/or take entrepreneurial initiative and action.
- To inspire through Success Stories.
- To highlight Best Practices of female leadership in the corporate sector.
- To create productive Net Working.
The Forum, as an extended, four-hour interactive experience, will highlight and address the following concerns:
- What changes are women experiencing in their professional journey?
- What choices do women make for their career development?
- Defend your choices: How do you defend the choices you make in the workplace?
- Digital transformation & AI: How is technology and AI changing the way we work and shaping our choices?
- So much work, so little time: How can work-life balance be maintained when work compresses life?
- When the body changes: How do pregnancy and menopause affect our professional path?
- Personal branding: how does our personal image create value and express our uniqueness?
- It’s a family affair: can professional growth coexist with family harmony?
Participants — Business Executives, Freelancers, and Individuals — will have the opportunity to engage with Senior Executives and Industry Professionals, learn about the Initiatives and Programs taking place in our country, and of course, take part in the highly successful Networking Session, with cocktails, surprises, and gifts.

REAL CHALLENGES Thursday, October 31st, NJV Athens Plaza Hotel
What are the real challenges faced today, in the context of Diversity and Inclusion, by Women Managers and Entrepreneurs—whether in hiring, promotion, or taking on entrepreneurial initiatives? Are these challenges equally perceived by both Male and Female Managers? How do they affect corporate performance? How do the new generation of Women experience these challenges, in Greece and abroad? What does the landscape of Women’s participation in Boards of Directors and at the helm of Enterprises look like in Greece today? What is the stance of the Greek State and what are the developments in the European Union and internationally?
The 10th Women in Business Forum, organized by ICAP CRIF, will explore the REAL CHALLENGES and present SUCCESS STORIES of Businesses, Government Policies, and Distinguished Executives within the framework of Inclusion and Diversity, focusing on the Woman Entrepreneur or Manager in contemporary Greek business.
The Forum, as an extended 4-hour interactive experience, aspires through Speeches, Presentations, and Panel Discussions to:
- Creatively examine the Concerns and Challenges, Legislative Initiatives, and current Policies regarding Women’s inclusion in Senior and Executive Management.
- Showcase disruptive (international) stories of young and more experienced Women Executives and Professionals who have successfully dared to challenge the professional status quo and overcome the bottleneck of gender discrimination in the workplace.
- Highlight corporate Case Studies of Female Leadership from major Companies in Greece and abroad.
- Provide rich and engaging Research insights, based on recent Studies and Surveys about current and future conditions in businesses, organizations, and societies.
- Spark public dialogue with Executives and Personalities from a wide range of controversial Professions, Specialties, and Sectors of Activity.

The 9th Forum “Women in Business|Together to the next level”, for Female Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the current era was successfully held on Thursday, October 19th at the NJV Athens Plaza hotel. The event was moderated by Katerina Gkagkaki, Communications Specialist and Deputy Mayor of Social Solidarity and Civil Society at the Municipality of Athens.
For the first time, it was conducted both in person and online, also including a special professional training session on the topic of “Resilience and Adaptability in Crisis Management“.

The acknowledgment and support of the female capital have been a perennial issue in the Greek business and political scene, affected of course by the challenges and changes in the global institutional framework.
