People – Social Contribution – Environment

ICAP, remaining loyal to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) established in recent years, has been zealously and responsibly engaged in the three pillars of its relevant policy:

In the context of its Policy for women, female employees decorated our Christmas tree with ornaments handcrafted by our children in order to create a warm Christmas atmosphere in our premises. Following a draw, three children won Allou Fun Park tickets as a prize for their ornaments.

During Christmas period, an event for our employees’ children was held in our premises in a fairy tale atmosphere blended with creative activities and workshops. The fest ended with a visit by Santa Clause who gave out gifts to our children.

In November, the employees contributed to the strengthening of the ICAP Blood Bank through the voluntary donation that took place at our headquarters in co-operation with the Metaxa Hospital.

In the context of social contribution and volunteering, our company decided to support people hit by the catastrophic fire in Eastern Attica. We collected and delivered to municipality’s distribution channels necessary supplies for our fellow citizens deprived of basic necessities.

In the same context and based on the fact that 65% of our human capital consist of women, we sponsored and participated with a corporate team of 130 participants to “Race for the Cure” in order to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention to our People. Race for the Cure is organized by “Alma Zois”, the Panhellenic Association of Women with cancer.

In December, a Christmas bazaar was held in our offices in Kallithea in which the NGOs “Margarita” and “The Smile of the Child” took part selling their own handicrafts to our colleagues with the aim of raising money for their needs.

In the Environment Pillar, we organized for the 8th consecutive year our voluntary corporate event together with our families. The event took place at the coastal area of Glyfada where we cleaned the beach and afterwards we visited ARCHELON, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece. There we had the chance to tour their facilities and be informed about the sea turtles’ rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
