ICAP, staying true to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) established in recent years, has been zealously and responsibly engaged in the three pillars of its relevant policy:

Our People – Social Contribution & Volunteering – The Environment

Recognizing the contribution of our people and rewarding them for their contribution to the pursuit of our strategic goals, the New Year’s Pita Cutting took place on 25th January with a special event with live music. The 26 lucky winners of our yearly lottery were announced the previous day after a draw which was held at our offices.

For Women’s Day, we organized a special event full of joy and live music for only the female employees of our Company at a restaurant in Koukaki. Our Company, however, does not only take the opportunity to celebrate the Women’s Day, but tries through its respective policy to offer professional opportunities support and develop its female population not only professionally but also in terms of personal-work life balance.

On the occasion of the World Environment Day and at the same time wishing to reward employee loyalty and success, we chose for one more year to arrange the annual corporate venture.  On Friday June 7th, we gathered at Veikou Park where we carried out cleaning, sports and team building activities finishing our day with lunch. The same day, employees from Thessaloniki’s offices went to Epanomi in the area of Potamos, from Larissa’s offices to Agiokampos and from Patra’s offices to the Rio beach for cleaning activities. Finally, employees from Crete’s offices visited the poorhouse of Heraclion, where they planted with the dwellers the trees, which had been purchased for the company.
In June and November, the employees contributed to the strengthening of the ICAP Blood Bank through the voluntary donation that took place at our headquarters in co-operation with the Laiko and Metaxa Hospitals. Employees were actively involved in this essential initiative and their participation was greater than any other so far.

In December, we decorated our Christmas Tree with balls, which were created with photographs taken from our employees, and with handcrafted decoration, which had been created by our employee’s children. We did that in order to give a more familiar character to our Christmas Tree and connect it to our families. Three lucky employees’ children won tickets for Allou Fun Park after lottery.

In the Christmas spirit, we have organized the annual Celebration for our employee’s children. In collaboration with Oneirodromio we created a fairytale atmosphere full of activities and children’s workshops and the special afternoon ended with the visit of Santa Claus who distributed his gifts to all the children. In addition, all employees received gift certificates from the Company.

In the context of Social Contribution and Volunteering and having as a Company a large proportion of human resources in women, we participated for the second year in the “Race for the Cure” which organized by Panhellenic Women Association With Breast Cancer  «Alma Zois» with a corporate team consisting of about 100 participants.

Moreover, we organized two bazaars in Easter and Christmas period at our headquarters in collaboration with NGOs PEKAMEA, The Smile of The Child and Make a wish. We participated in the Christmas lottery of ELEPAP buying tickets for all our employees and finally we collected school supplies for NGO Theofilos.

At the Environmental Pillar for the 8th  consecutive year, we organized our own voluntary outing with our families. We planned a voluntary environmental action combined with a training activity for our little friends. We contributed to reforestation in the wider Penteli PIKPA area and then our little friends had the opportunity to explore and take photos in a fire truck and to be trained by a member of the fire brigade.
